I paid fort the cd and my husband is playing it for his friends. I 'm sure some of it was to be funny- they're playing cards and the Congressman Dan song -you should hear them in there , wanted to let you know they think it's funny.

Just wanted to tell everyone that I talk to Nick (the captain) everyday and he is doing fine in Iraq. He is missing NEPA and is hoping for a safe return in late summer.

My husband and I were at {atte's Sports restaurant on St. Patty's Day and two of you were playing guitars and you guys were awsome- not too loud like other bars where they have live music, but enjoyable. Post were you are playing again. We had a great time- and my husband hates stuff like that- but he said he would definately go again.
we are fans
and we're getting the cd!
good luck.

I was turned on the Alblumo Duo by the Keeper, and I have to say I am impressed, amused, baffled, enlightend, distraught, uplifted, and possibly requiring intubation. It's obvious to me that you are true blue products of this leachate infused, heavy metal contanimated region that I know and love, and that you are not afraid to admit it.

Such audacity reflects many things about you, not all of which would be considered polite in mixed company.

The humor is genuine, the playing and recording impeccable, and the whole project is laudable.

Thanks for the good work. I really think you have a good thing going. As a struggling guitar artist myself, you've given me hope that good art can be made by drawing on what's truly inside of ourselves. Even if it is slightly askew of sanity.

If I ever meet you, the first round is on me.

These guys told me that if I just showed up I would get free pizza, wings, and beer. Then they made me put on a guitar and promised me more food and beer if I went along with their scheme. I worked my fingers to the nubbins and they deprived me of sleep for several days. After all that, they skimped on the beer and offered me only a couple of cheap domestic light beers that were on sale at the gas station. Now they never stop calling me and I feel like a dirty tramp.

Wit, Wisdom and Wrapping Paper:

A misty seaside town, young lovers stealing a kiss, a band of roving lads all conjured in the dreamy Celtic flavored ballad Wall Of Meringue. The melancholy Been A Long Time introduces the mysterious and lovelorn Mulligan with that perfect touch of bitter-sweet. But, just when you thought you were in for an evening of straight amour the band flips their lid and throws in a potent dose of jocularity with the “everybody-sing-along” Wrapping Paper Blues, the tender tongue in cheek Public TV and the full on funky Get The White Out.

12 original songs in all, each a unique ingredient for this tasty, rich and complex Mulligan’s Stew. My own personal favorite South Wilkes-Barre; got the little ditty stuck in my head and could not get it out. That seemingly light dash of whimsy leaves you wanting more. Haley's Polar Bear Lullaby is just that; lovely. Down In The Valley adds an unexpected and inspired thirteenth pinch of playful seasoning.

Thanks Kevin and Se7en South for this satirical, affectionate and artistic extravaganza!

I personally think this cd is a great tribute to the mentallity in da valley wit a heart. Kudos to you guys.

Disclosure: I am Kevin McGroarty's first cousin from Chicago and my comment is not biased. Query: Why hasn't this album hit platinum yet? Very suspicious. I may have to send some of the boys to see what is going on. Seriously, good music, great wry lyrics, touch of the Irish, and a pinch of Tango. Keep up the good work and keep having fun!

Mr. McGroarty, I want to thank you for a fantastic time at the CD release party! Mr. Spaciano and his wife also had a great time. I will turn as many people on to your music as I can, it's just the cats ass! Be cool, take care and have fun!
